Meet the Founder Behind Cherrystain

Cherrystain was founded by Kirti Waghmare, a designer specializing in intimate apparel and period underwear innovation.

With a Master’s degree in Contour Fashion Innovation from De Montfort University, UK, where she specialized in period underwear, Kirti’s work has always combined research, fit development, and health-focused design. Her background, along with hands-on experience in femtech and product testing, shaped her approach: design should solve real problems.

Through her own cycle experiences and conversations with women across different life stages, she saw the gaps in reusable period care: uncomfortable fits, bulky layers, poor sizing, or high prices. So she built something better.

Cherrystain isn’t just a product. It’s a shift in how we think about period care.
